OPPO F25 Pro: Amazing Budget Friendly Smartphone

The latest OPPO F25 Pro 5G stands out as a budget phone in the current market. It introduces cutting edge hardware that raises the bar for 4K video capabilities with UHD recording on both its rear cameras. This feature is especially appealing to content creators and up and coming influencers. The device offers more beyond that. Its exceptional performance, lasting battery life and outstanding design set it apart in its price range. The OPPO F25 Pro 5G truly embodies a combination of affordability and quality.

OPPO F25 Pro Display

Aside from its color, what immediately caught my attention were the thin bezels surrounding the 6.7 inch AMOLED screen of the F25 Pro. The display delivers colors presenting visuals that are truly striking. Navigating through the screen is also seamless due to its support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

The viewing experience is further enriched with HDR10+ compatibility on the F25 Pro elevating movie and show watching on platforms, like Netflix and Prime Video to a level. The colors are deep and intricate creating a feel throughout the viewing experience.

The device screen is both smooth and sharp, with impressive brightness reaching up to 1100 nits. This ensures visibility in bright sunlight making it easy to read notifications without squinting outdoors.

Overall the display on the F25 Pro is remarkable. It’s smooth, vibrant, bright and perfect for use as well as movie watching and gaming.

OPPO F25 Pro Performance

In terms of performance the F25 Pro 5G comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. While I wasn’t expecting top tier performance from this phone, it pleasantly surprised me. It handled tasks seamlessly without any lag when multitasking or browsing the web.

What truly impressed me is its gaming performance. Although I didn’t have expectations, the F25 Pro delivered beyond what I anticipated. The games like Temple Run and Candy Crush ran smoothly on this device.

When it came to playing demanding games, like Genshin Impact on the F25 Pro I was pleasantly surprised by how it performed even though the graphics weren’t top notch. The game ran smoothly on settings compared to high end devices. During gaming sessions the phone did warm up a bit. It never got uncomfortably hot.

One downside that I noticed, which seems to be common among manufacturer phones, is the presence of bloatware. While the F25 Pro wasn’t overloaded with apps and games there were still quite a few of them. Although I managed to uninstall most of the installed apps some system apps remained and could only be closed forcibly. On the side most of the bloatware can be removed.

OPPO F25 Pro Speaker

Regarding the speaker setup I found it quite disappointing, on the F25 Pro. With a bottom speaker there was no stereo sound experience. The audio quality didn’t impress me either; it sounded somewhat tinny. At volume it was unpleasant to listen to. Additionally whenever I used the phone horizontally for gaming or watching videos without earbuds my hand often ended up covering the speaker grille and dampening sound output.

OPPO F25 Pro OS

The phone operates using ColorOS 14 a customized version of Android 14 that provides a range of customization features. I particularly liked the Always on Display function which offers themes and wallpapers for an enjoyable user experience.

In general despite its speaker quality the F25 Pro performs admirably for activities such as streaming, multitasking and basic gaming without any noticeable slowdowns or lags.

OPPO F25 Pro Battery

The Oppo F25 Pro consists of a 5000 mAh battery capacity. It easily lasted me throughout the day with usage. The phone’s battery life extended to 16-17 hours. Moreover thanks to its charging capability with a 67 W charger it can go from 0 to 100 percent in an hour and a half.

OPPO F25 Pro Camera

When it comes to the camera performance of the Oppo F25 Pro it’s a bit of a bag. While it can capture photos with details and colors there are some limitations that prevent it from delivering an all around excellent camera performance. Let me elaborate further on this.

The smartphone features a camera setup comprising a 64 megapixel camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. This camera arrangement produces high quality photos with details.

While the camera captures images well at times the colors appear saturated in the output. Nonetheless the overall visual outcome is pleasing to the eye. In landscape shots the camera enhances the sky and adds vibrant hues to buildings and other elements in the frame. I found the macro mode impressive for up shots capturing details like pollen on flowers.

The portrait mode performs too, creating bokeh effects that effectively blur the background. However I did notice issues with edge detection especially when capturing moving subjects such as animals or plants.

I also encountered autofocus challenges that occasionally caused me to miss shots.

In terms of night photography the phone delivers results under lighting conditions but struggles in low light situations. Images taken in light exhibit some noise and slight graininess in details.

The phone doesn’t take long to capture and process photos, in light or night mode, which is a plus.

The front camera delivers results through the images that tend to be soft. However, you have the option to adjust the settings. In my opinion the image processing appears decent. The filters can come in for capturing great photos even on days when you’re not at your best.

Despite some focusing issues that can likely be addressed with an update and average performance in light conditions the Oppo F25 Pro excels in its camera capabilities and produces high quality images.

OPPO F25 Pro Price

OPPO F25 Pro price is $288 in the USA.

Equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset this device is adept at managing activities and even some demanding tasks like gaming, to an extent. You can switch between apps smoothly. Multitask effortlessly. The design definitely provides an aesthetic appeal.

The camera performs overall for capturing landscapes and portraits in favorable lighting conditions.
